Travel Light began in 2019 as a small fundraiser: a kitchen full of soy wax, a stack of mason jars, and a one-way ticket overseas.
Elizabeth Wagstaff hand-poured candles in mason jars to help fund her missions trip. What started as a fundraiser grew into three years on the field, and along the way she helped start another candle business abroad to fund a local women's center.
Travel Light is the family business, and the name of the original candles in mason jars that started it all.
Restore Me is the brand line we make today: small-batch soaps and lotions in restorative scents, with more on the way. The Travel Light candle line, in mason jars with ten scents, is returning soon.
When Elizabeth came home to the United States, she didn't want to lose what God had begun. So she partnered with her mother, Kristen, and together they built Restore Me, a line of natural soaps and lotions that uses gentle ingredients to restore and rejuvenate the skin, while every sale sows into the bigger work God is calling them to: healing for women in crisis.
Today, Travel Light is a family-run, faith-rooted business, and the ministry is still ahead of us. Every Restore Me soap and lotion is hand-crafted in small batches with coconut oil, olive oil, and shea butter. (Soy wax shows up only in the candles, never in the body care.) Every order helps us build toward women's retreats, ministry, and one day a safehouse for women who need a place to begin again. It will take time to build, and every order moves it forward.
